family

She waits for me.

She senses me.

My blog girls understand me, too.

Until tomorrow.

    Family; indeed.

She may have “her” time, but I know without a doubt she is ready always when you are there.

With warmth and light to you and Gwendolyn. Enjoy that space you two share.

I don’t just like this, I love it! I always say that our friends are the family that we make for ourselves. The same goes for our furry “kids.”

I posted the link today on Twitter to an article about a newly-adopted cat that saved his owner’s life when she started having diabetic seizures in her sleep. He can sense when her blood sugar is low and is now a medical assist animal. Furry family members are amazing, and in Miss Gwendolyn’s case, absolutely adorable and wonderful just like her mommy. xoxo ♥

Shalimar and I know all each other’s little quirks and secrets. She is never out of my sight when I’m home and she knows how I’m feeling. She knows when I’m sick or worried. She even knows when I’m about to arrive home and is always waiting at the door..
She actually knows more about me than my family growing up did.. which sadly says a lot about them, but explains too why animals will always be closer to me than humans.
pets are amazing. So precious xxx

I always find this particular “sense” kind of eerie. Boo can sense my husband arrive at the groomer’s even though the entrance is far, far away from the where the dogs are kept:) Starts barking excitedly as soon as hubby enters LOL
Then, of course, he’s absolutely beside himself with joy when he actually lays eyes on him:)
    Adorable.
    Oh, to be loved so.
    Is there anything better?

Awww, that’s a really sweet comment you left me! I am so glad that I could be of some inspiration in some way! I sometimes think everyone wonders why I write such random waffly poetry but for me it is part of rejoicing in the beauty of creation, waxing lyrical about the natural world and its effect on me and I want to share that, even if it’s not everyone’s cup of tea! It was sooo beautiful in my garden at twillight, I just had to stay out there and write the poem, I felt right again after a harrowing day!! (and the nymph part being obviously my green and leafy outfit! I am so glad you are my blog friend Nicole! :-)

I love this post. So simple, yet so so poignant and heartfelt! We only need few words for expressing our joy and delight!

    Take care x
